By Mirboo North Cricket Club - 19th February 2002 - Back to News Musicians, singers, poets and other talented entertainers have an opportunity to perform in public and win some prize-money at the annual Mirboo North Talent Quest (to be held on Sat March 2nd).
This is the fifth time that this Talent Quest and Auction night has been held. The standard of performance has been so high that past winners have gone on to professional careers. This has made it a very entertaining evening for the audience.
If you are a performer who would like to share in the $300 prize-money, get in touch with the talent co-ordinator on 56681459. If you just want some good entertainment and a few bargains come along. Remember this is not a Red Faces night, just a variety of good local acts.
The audience has also benefited from the great bargains available at the auction. There are many new goods and valuable services donated by generous local traders and other supporters of this event.
This event is the major fund raising activity for the Mirboo North Cricket Club and the club would like to thank all its supporters, sponsors and donors. Bookings for tables are being taken by the co-ordinator (56681459) - if you are coming with a group please book by the 27th Feb.
