Latrobe Local News: Temporary Road Closures In TraralgonDue to the Traralgon CBD Trading Post 2002 Grand Prix Rally, there will be temporary road closures on several streets By Latrobe City Council - 21st February 2002 - Back to News Tell us your opinion See what others have said Motorist and residents are advised that the streets and carparks listed below within the Traralgon Central Business District will be temporarily closed to all vehicles except police and emergency services vehicles, and event vehicles as follows:
Monday 25 February 6.30pm to 11.30pm for a motorkhana style driving test starting at 8pm Kay Street – East and West bound lanes between Breed and Church Streets, Breed Street roundabout, Church Street at the Kay Street roundabout, Kay Street centre median carpark and Breed/Seymour Street swimming pool carpark.
Tuesday 26 February 7.45am to 11.45 am for rally stage start at 8.30am Kay Street – East bound lane between Breed and Church Streets, Breed/Seymour Street swimming pool carpark.
The Trading Post 2002 Grand Prix Rally is conducted in association with the 2002 Foster's Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park Melbourne. The rally attracts between 150 and 200 entries each year.
Residents are invited to view both the driving test Monday evening and the stage start Tuesday morning in Kay Street Traralgon.
