Keep Batteries Out of BinsRecent months have seen an increase in fires, with the most common cause being batteries that have been disposed of in kerbside bins. By Portal Admin - 30th March 2020 - Back to News In an effort to stop fires occurring at waste facilities and in garbage trucks, Bass Coast Shire Council is urging the community to keep batteries out of their bins.
