Details: This is the ‘turning of the first sod’ for the roadworks for the Phillip Island Children’s Hub. The roadworks will be undertaken to provide access to the construction site for the Hub building itself, with construction due to commence around April 2011.
How: Funding for the Phillip Island Children’s Hub: Bass Coast Shire Council has committed $2million to the project. A grant has been received from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development for $1million from the 2010-11 Children’s Capital Program.
