Sale Under 16 Boys makes it to 1st final of the Victorian Junior Metropolitan Basketball League Champion Division

Sale Amateur Basketball Association's Under 16 Boys team plays it's first final in the Victorian Junior Metropolitan Basketball League Series on Friday 20th August in Traralgon at 8.20pm.

The Sale Amateur Basketball Association is proud to congratulate 8 local basketballers and their coach for their participation and success in the Championship Division of the Victorian Junior Metropolitan Basketball League.

Michael Todd (C), Jake Dyt (VC), Jordan Mowbray, Marc Goodwin, Mat Woodcock, Matt Counahan, Sam Noone and Jack Tatterson, headed by coach Mike Rowell will head off to play the 1st final in Traralgon this Friday 20 August at 8.20pm. The competition is divided into 2 pools, with the Sale team up against Nunawading 2, after finishing 3rd in the "Ashe Pool". (The other pool of teams is the "Watson Pool")

Marita Wilson of SABA will be one of the official scorers for this important and potentially exciting game.

The Under 16 team train at the OA Ruff Stadium in Sale every Monday and Thursday night and compete in Melbourne every Friday night.

The Championship Division of this competition is recognised throughout the State and the Sale Under 16 team should be congratulated for their efforts and their professional conduct.

If successful against Nunawading 2 on Friday night, the team will then play the 2nd final on Sunday.
