Students will be receiving their ENTER scores on Monday, December 12. To assist students with course advice, a Change of Preference session will be held at Gippsland Campus on Tuesday, December 13.
Thirty of Monash University’s most outstanding teaching staff will present workshops, seminars and demonstrations of new and creative ways to approach challenges in tertiary teaching in the twenty-first century at the Gippsland Campus on Friday, December 9. The keynote speaker at the conference will be Sheryl Bond from Queen’s University in Canada.
Nearly 250 career teachers from across Victoria are currently at Monash University Gippsland Campus for the 2005 CEAV Conference. The event runs December 4-6 and involves various activities across Gippsland.

Associate Professor Colleen Lewis has been appointed to the position of Head of the School of Humanities, Communications and Social Sciences. Outgoing Head, Associate Professor Harry Ballis is Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor for the Gippsland Campus and Executive Director, Gippsland Education Precinct.
Associate Professor Jenny Hocking from the Centre for Australian Studies has been appointed Director of Research for the School of Humanities, Communications and Social Sciences.
A Memorandum of Understanding between Monash University and Fudan University (China) has been signed by Monash’s Vice Chancellor and the Deputy President of Fudan to facilitate collaborative research between both Schools of Nursing.
Professor Karen Francis, School of Nursing and Midwifery at the Gippsland Campus is part of a research team that received a prestigious national grant to look into the experience of intellectually disabled rural women during pregnancy.
Staff from the Gippsland Campus will be presenting the Monash Prize throughout Gippsland in the coming months. The Monash Prize is presented to high achieving Year 11 students.
