Essendon Football Club Players to Visit Foster & Yarram

Essendon Football Club players are set to visit Foster and Yarram for an AFL Player Appearance that will include super clinics for primary schools in the region.

The Essendon players are visiting Welshpool PS, Foster PS and South Gippsland Secondary College on Monday 14 July between 10:45-12:00 in the morning and will be at Yarram Recreation Reserve from 1:15-2:45pm in the afternoon.

The visits are an initiative from the AFL which allows communities to access some of the best athletes in the AFL.

AFL Gippsland Region General Manager, Travis Switzer says, "We are thrilled to have Essendon visiting and welcome them to Gippsland."

"This is a great opportunity for our community, especially the local primary schools and kids."

"The AFL Player Appearances offer more than just the chance to engage with the Essendon Football Club players, it provides motivation and aspiration for our younger footballers and offers the opportunity to showcase our region to those visiting.’
