Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance Prepares For National Title In Western Australia

Three members of Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance will travel to Perth’s Scarborough Beach this weekend to represent the local surf life saving club and Victoria in the ‘Australian Club of the Year’ championships

Club Captain Cameron King, Secretary Kristine Cordery and Life Member Ron Stott will make a presentation to the selection panel in Western Australia.

Last year the Lakes Entrance club won the title of ‘Club of the Year’ for the state beating 58 Victorian clubs earning them the right to nominate for the ‘Australian Club of the Year’ award.

Lakes Entrance will compete against more than 300 clubs representing the cream of Australia’s surf life saving crop.
