Free Information Session To ‘Grow Your Business’Are you a small to medium enterprise looking for ways to further grow and develop your business? By Latrobe City Council - 26th August 2009 - Back to News If you answered yes, then come along to the free information session to learn about growing your business.
Latrobe City Council has obtained the assistance of SeaEagle Consulting to facilitate a ‘Grow Your Business Group Program’ during September and October.
The free information evening regarding this program is being held on Tuesday 1 September 2009 at the Latrobe City Council Civic Centre, Kay Street Traralgon.
The session will commence at 6pm and is expected to conclude at 6.45pm.
SeaEagle Consulting will provide an overview of how the program can assist small to medium enterprises (SME’s) and how the program will be delivered.
Latrobe City Council’s coordinator business development, Donna Starkey, said the ‘Grow Your Business Program’ will aim to encourage SME’s to develop management skills and competencies required to support long term growth, through participating in the two full day workshops.
These day long workshops will then be followed by one-one-one; private sessions with the consultants to further develop particular business and marketing plans.
"It is important for businesses to understand the value of having an up-to-date business plan which incorporates marketing strategies to help their business thrive," Ms Starkey said.
"Participation in groups enables firms to observe and develop better business practices and processes and to share management challenges, experiences and insights. The one-on-one follow ups with the consultants ensure plans are developed in line with individual businesses needs," Ms Starkey added.
The program is being subsidised by the Victorian State Government, to provide businesses the opportunity to participate in the workshops at a reduced cost.
For further information about the evening, or to register your attendance, please contact Latrobe City Council’s business development unit on 5128 5659 or via email busdev@latrobe.vic.gov.au.
