Agricultural economist and farmer David Bryant will lift the lid on commodities vs the ASX? Which has outperformed? The answer will surprise you. Later this year he is addressing the Financial Planning Association of Australia’s national conference on his research ... so here’s a chance to hear about it first.

There will be an important address on the issue of food security by Prof Trevor Budge and revealing insights into issues for communities of rural Victoria by Gippsland-born Professor Allan Curtis.

Veteran agricultural heavyweight Pat McNamara will discuss farming after fires and there will be important industry updates on horticulture, beef, the equine industry and fisheries/aquaculture.

Organics and agritourism will be discussed and there will be a presentation on the future of biofuels by Tony St Clair, agribusiness manager MBD Energy, the company that this year signed a deal with Loy Yang Power for a CO2 bio-sequestration plant. Former Chief Executive of NZ Federated Farmers, Queensland-born Tony also served as VFF executive director.

And – there’s a great dinner speaker in Test legend … and farmer … Glenn McGrath.

The summit features:

-          22 industry-leading speakers

-          Three expert keynote speakers

-          300 attendees expected from across Victoria

Registration costs for the summit are:
