Deep concerns as TGA stops reporting myocarditis despite 15% excess deaths increase in 2023 post Covid vaccinations

Russell Broadbent questions the TGA's decision to stop reporting myocarditis cases and emphasises the potential long-term heart damage. He emphasises the need for transparency to restore public trust.

Russell Broadbent here. Member for Monash. I care passionately about the health and wellbeing of Australians. It seems there has never been a more important time than now to focus on health. I find it truly alarming what is happening in the wake of our nation's response to the Covid pandemic. The ABS reports that excess deaths began to climb in 2021 and are continuing into 2023 at a rate of 15% above what is expected.

Concerns over vaccine safety

Meanwhile the TGA has recorded more adverse events and deaths for these covid injections than for any other vaccine brought to market in this country. I have been overwhelmed by the number of people who have contacted me from around the country telling me the story of their, or their family members, vaccine injury. It's heartbreaking.

This is why I have been calling for an inquiry into Australia's Covid Pandemic response. Data obtained under freedom of information shows: during 2021 and 2022 we saw an explosion of cardiac presentations to emergency health services in both Victoria and South Australia. In the under 50 age group these presentations almost DOUBLED with peaks coinciding with the jab rollout and booster programs.

One of the known side effects of the jabs is heart inflammation - also known as myocarditis and pericarditis. The TGA recently stated in it Covid vaccine safety report: "Reporting rates of myocarditis and pericarditis following vaccination are stable." So they have decided to stop reporting on these. These 'stable' rates are reported at 2 per 100,000 for the mRNA vaccines.

Call for transparency

However, the TGA's own reports show a bigger picture. That young men seem to be most at risk with 10-20 cases of myocarditis per 100,000. That's 5 to 10 times higher! I am informed by highly qualified medical doctors and cardiologists, that myocarditis is by no means a benign condition. There is significant risk of long-term damage to the heart.

But the TGA has decided to 'stop reporting' these figures? Why? You would think this would be a time the TGA would drill down into this data and find out what's going on. The future health of this nation depends on it!

The TGA says the rates are stable. But I say 'stable' does not mean normal. At a time when public trust is at an all-time low, we need full transparency from our health authorities. Australians deserve nothing less. And that's justice as I see it.
