Bullock Island bridge replacement progressing well and well worth $5M funding from federal governmentFederal government provided $5 million for the Bullock Island bridge replacement and associated road works which is part of the master plan for the popular island. By news@gippsland - 7th March 2022 - Back to News Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester said, "Providing safe access for heavy vehicles associated with the fishing industry and Gippsland Ports activities, along with recreational vehicles, led to the bridge replacement which is being managed by East Gippsland Shire Council."
