Grants For VolunteersA total of $3 million in grants for community volunteers is to be made available over the next three years. By East Gippsland Shire Council - 22nd September 2004 - Back to News East Gippsland Shire CEO Steve Kozlowski said the Victorian Government had advised Council that amounts up to $5000 could be sourced by community organisations.
"The purpose of the grants is to encourage volunteering and increase the diversity of volunteers," he said.
"Organisations that already involve volunteers can also apply for a grant to extend opportunities in their local community."
