CFA Information Van Continues To Provide Information To Morwell Residents Locations for Thursday Morwell CFA Member for Morwell Russell Northe today welcomes the continuation of the CFA Information van travelling around Morwell providing information for Morwell residents. Mr Northe said in continued efforts to keep the community informed, information was provided at last night’s community meeting held at Kernot Hall in Morwell. This second community meeting hosted by the emergency services included a panel of CFA, Department of Health, EPA and Victoria Ambulance representatives and was well attended. Other departmental representatives were available to provide information during the meeting inclusive of Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
Information will also be available at the following locations today:
Traralgon Shopping Centre from 9.00am till 10.00am
Cowwarr General Store from 12.00pm till 1.00pm
Toongabbie Mechanics Institute at 5.30pm
Churchill Fire Station at 6.00pm
Glengarry Community Hall at 7.30pm
"Comments and responses from the community are being strongly conveyed by myself to the Coalition Government for attention and action. Parliament was sitting therefore my apologies were given at the community meeting last night however my office was represented for this purpose of taking the community views back to government," Mr Northe said.
Mr Northe is anticipating further announcements shortly on this major incident impacting the Latrobe Valley and in particular, the residents of Morwell.
