Glengarry Mechanics Institute $250,000 upgrades funded from federal Drought Communities Program completed
Upgrade works for the Glengarry Mechanics' Institute has been completed making the hall more user friendly for community events and celebrations.
Local MP Darren Chester recently inspected completed work at the Glengarry Mechanics Institute. Mr Chester said upgrades were made to the interior and exterior of the hall to improve accessibility and useability of the hall. The Federal Government provided $250,000 towards the project through the Drought Communities Program.
The federal government, Latrobe Valley Authority and Latrobe City Council contributed funding for the project through the Drought Communities Program
