Daniel Andrews has now spent more than $500 million of taxpayers’ money to fix the damage of his decision, including on a rescue package that has failed to offer any job opportunities to hundreds of highly-skilled Hazelwood workers.
Just weeks before Hazelwood closes, an AEMO report released today showed Victoria faces a shortfall in gas supply in coming years.
But the Andrews Government’s answer is to seek a meeting with the Prime Minister, rather than looking in their own backyard and seeking a staged closure of Hazelwood.
