Masterclass To Grow Your Business A regional consultation forum will be held in Traralgon on 13 October 2011 to provide information on the Victorian Coalition Government’s MasterClass for Growth program. By Russell Northe - 5th October 2011 - Back to News Nationals Member for Morwell and Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business Russell Northe said the Coalition Government program consists of four sessions over an eight month period to help small to medium businesses fast-track growth and expansion.
"The next Masterclass for Growth program starts in February 2012 and will run for the duration of eight months," said Mr Northe.
"A regional information forum has been set for Thursday 13 October in Traralgon to provide small to medium business owners the opportunity to learn more about the program and what they could benefit from this fantastic program."
Mr Northe said applications for the MasterClass program, which runs in Melbourne, opened 3 October 2011 and will close on 4 November 2011. There are places for 20 businesses in each of the two available streams.
The program is open to Victorian-based businesses that:
- Have been in business for at least two years
- Have an annual turnover of at least $500,000
- Employ between two and 200 people
- Demonstrate a pattern of business growth
Each business may nominate a maximum of two participants for the program, one of whom must be the CEO, General Manager or equivalent position.
"There are a number of selection criteria, and I strongly encourage any interested business owners to look further into the program and attend the information forum on 13 October.
"If your business is poised for expansion, the program may assist you to understand, prepare and implement plans to fast-track growth."
The Traralgon session will be held at the Latrobe Victorian Business Centre, 33 Breed Street Traralgon, from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.
