Link-in to your libraryDid you know that you can make full use of Wellington Shire Council’s extensive library resources from the comfort of your own home? By Wellington Shire Council - 12th July 2004 - Back to News Simply join your local branch library and Link-In to utilise this service through the council’s website at www.wellington.vic.gov.au/library
Resources available free of charge include an extensive range of books, magazines, talking books, videos, DVDs and lots more. These can be ordered on-line for collection at the nearest library.
Especially helpful to those doing research and homework is the access provided to such well-known and extensive databases as: Gulliver; ABI/Inform; the Health and Wellness Resources Centre; the Academic Research Library; the General Science Index; and Newstand.
Said Wellington’s Mayor Jeff Amos: "As a council we are committed to maximising accessibility to our library services and Link-In is a great initiative through which to do this.
"It represents an invaluable ordering and information resources for the Wellington community.
For more information on these services and how to Link-In to your library brochure, simply call into your local library, or pop along to an informal beginners session at Sale Library on Thursday 15 July, from 5pm to 6pm.
