High Country Hooch Distilling owners Paul and Leanne Poulter won Best New Business at the Gippsland Business Awards, growing their Glenaladale venture into a handcrafted spirits and tasting-room destination.

"Small business owners are the engine room of the Gippsland economy and I love seeing new enterprises open up, particularly in the current challenging economic environment," Mr Chester said.
