Baw Baw Youth Contact Card 2004/2005A partnership between Baw Baw Shire and GippsTAFE has resulted in an updated Youth Contact Card for 2004/2005. By Baw Baw Shire Council - 28th July 2004 - Back to News An initiative of the Youth Network, the contact card details services and phone numbers relevant to young people aged between 12 and 25 living in Baw Baw Shire. This includes emergency contacts, legal advice, counseling services, support and accommodation, financial services, transportation, health services, and employment, education and training.
GippsTAFE VCAL students recently updated this year’s Youth Contact Card. The card will be widely available to young people through the Welfare Coordinator at schools, Baw Baw Shire Council, West Gippsland Healthcare Group, and youth workers within the Shire.
Baw Baw Shire, Cr. Ruth McDonald, commended the support of local businesses, with discounts offered by Active Outdoor Sports, Cactus Black, Drouin Golden Hair Studio, Warragul Bowl, and Warragul Cinema.
