Renowned artist to perform in SaleWellington Shire Council’s Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre will host a live performance by leading Australian electro-acoustic musician, Brigid Burke on 13 May at 8.00pm. By Wellington Shire Council - 30th April 2004 - Back to News Brigid is a renowned composer, clarinet soloist and visual artist who has performed around the country and internationally receiving 12 music awards for her work. The unique show combines a musical experience with a visual accompaniment that is projected onto a multimedia screen.
Tickets are $28 per person for an adult and $18 for concession and a sneak preview of her work can be found at www.brigid.com.au.
Said Wellington’s Mayor Jeff Amos: "Having a musician of Brigid’s calibre visit the shire is a fantastic opportunity for the community to experience an innovative musical performance. The entertainment centre is proving to be a very popular venue that brings distinct events to Wellington, making the arts more accessible to our residents."
