By news@gippsland - 30th June 2025 - Back to News Ruth Wiltshire from Lakes Entrance celebrated her 90th birthday on the weekend with family members travelling to town to celebrate the occasion. The birthday milestone culminated in a trishaw bike ride along the foreshore with her daughter, Maureen, and Cycling Without Age Gippsland volunteer Darren Chester. 
Ruth Wiltshire, her daughter, Maureen, and Cycling Without Age volunteer Darren Chester A special birthday treat for 90-year-old Ruth with a leisurely tour of Lakes Entrance alongside her daughter, Maureen. It was a perfect day to get the Cycling Without Age Gippsland trishaw in action, and we took in some of the sights along Cunninghame Arm, Bullock Island and across the footbridge. Ruth loved the ride and promised to give us a good reference with her friends! We are planning more riding days in the weeks ahead, so follow Cycling Without Age Gippsland on Facebook.
