Quantock to captivate with comedyWellington Shire Council’s Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre will be the venue for a night of razor sharp wit when renowned Australian comedian Rod Quantock delivers an energetic performance. By Wellington Shire Council - 22nd June 2004 - Back to News His devotion to comedy stems from some thirty years as a comedian and writer. He has worked extensively in television, including as the Associate Producer and Script Editor for the first series of popular comedy program Fast Forward, Head Writer and Script Editor for ABC-TV’s Backberner and as a regular guest on ABC’s Good News Week.
Rod’s amusing take on the Australian political system and his distinctly intelligent Australian manner of poking fun at it all, makes the show well worth watching.
The one-hour show will be on 30 June from 7.30pm. Tickets are $35 for adults and concessions are $28. For bookings and more information please call the entertainment centre’s box office on 5143 3200.
