Webmasters Cluster Listing launchThe Bairnsdale Personal Computer Users Group meeting on Friday evening will feature a presentation on the EG Portal and launch a Webmaster Cluster Group. By Russ Wade - 23rd November 2001 - Back to News The launch of a ‘Webmaster Cluster Group’ will be held at a meeting of the Bairnsdale Personal Computer Users Group. Until now, local businesses have had to resort to 'big city' authors to create their websites. Not because there were no talented Webauthors in Gippsland, but because there was no listing or directory of local authors - no avenue to locate them, or assess their merits.
The Webmaster Cluster aims to address this. Inviting local Webauthors to list their contact details with a link to their own website. It has been shown that there is better service and more realistic price structures obtained from local authors. There is a wide range of expertise among them giving the public a greater choice dependant on their needs.
The meeting will be held at the Picnic Point Hall, Bairnsdale, and commences at 7pm. Everyone is welcome, whether you are interested in the Web Cluster or just interested in computer related subjects.
