Leongatha customer service counter extends hours to Monday through Thursday, 9am until 4pm, starting 1 September 2025From 1 September, Leongatha customer service counter will operate Monday to Thursday, 9am - 4pm, following a review of usage, feedback, and the conclusion of Korumburra 12-month service trial. By news@gippsland - 18th August 2025 - Back to News The customer service counter in Leongatha will now be open Monday to Thursday, 9.00am to 4.00pm from 1 September. Council will revert to a single customer service counter in Leongatha from Monday 1 September, following the conclusion of a 12-month trial of a second counter at the Korumburra Community Hub. The decision follows a review of attendance data and consideration of community feedback. 
Council, after reviewing feedback and service usage, will return to one Leongatha counter with extended Monday - Thursday hours from 1 September After evaluating service usage and feedback, Council has determined that returning to a single location - with extended hours - will provide a clearer and more efficient experience for community members.
