Bass Coast Mayor, Cr Peter Paul, said over 230 people attended the Ball held on Friday night.

"We’re still calculating the official total," said Cr Paul. "However we’re confident it is over $20,000.

"This means total money raised from the Mayoral Balls over the last seven years is close to $100,000."

The Wonthaggi Town Hall was transformed into an exotic Bollywood theatre with entertainment from local Band Company Xposed and a roving performance from Bollywood dancers.

"The support for this year’s ball has been overwhelming," continued Cr Paul.

"It would not have been possible without all our sponsors.
