Art Resource Collective (ARC) in Yinnar celebrates its 40 years with $3,000 grant from Culture, Heritage and Arts Regional Tourism program
The Art Resource Collective (Arc) in Yinnar will mark 40 years with support from the Federal Government.
Arc received $3,000 through the federal government's Culture, Heritage and Arts Regional Tourism (CHART) program. Local MP Darren Chester said the funding would assist Arc in delivering five public events to mark the anniversary.
Art Resource Collective is a unique centre for creativity and contemporary arts that combines a superb gallery, vibrant music venue, studio spaces for artists, and resource services
Workplace for artists
Mr Chester said, "Arc will host three exhibitions and two workshops to mark the occasion and also celebrate reconnecting with the community after the last couple of years. Arc provides local and visiting artists with a place they can work, learn and showcase their skills and to reach this milestone is truly a remarkable achievement. Congratulations to Arc, it is truly a wonderful testament to local artists and supporters." Mr Chester said.
