Baw Baw Pet Expo is back on Burke Street Park in Warragul on 2 April 2023Pet lovers, owners and their furry four-legged friends are invited to come along to the Baw Baw Pet Expo, as it returns to Burke Street Park, Warragul, on Sunday 2 April. By news@gippsland - 24th February 2023 - Back to News The Baw Baw Pet Expo is an exciting free event that will run from 10am to 3pm and feature over 30 market stalls from various local businesses, trainers and wildlife displays, competitions and a special guest appearance from leader of the PAW Patrol pup's, Chase. 
Come and join Baw Baw Shire Pet Expo, a pet lovers free event happening on 2 April at Burke Street Park, Warragul Pet expo eventAll community members are encouraged to come along for this exciting event for the opportunity to interact with other pet lovers in the area and gain valuable resident information on pet ownership and tips on managing the wellbeing of your furry friends. Across the day there will be a number of competitions and activities for attendees to get involved with including: 11:00 am - Baw Baw Fastest DogA challenge to see if your dog is the fastest in its category. Small, medium and large dog breeds will compete in a 15m sprint to test your dog's sit, stay, recall abilities as well as their speed. The winners in each category will take home a KONG prize as well as bragging rights as your dog will be known as Baw Baw's fastest dog! 12:00 pm - Best TrickShow off your pet's trick skills for your chance to win a KONG prize pack 12:30 pm - Pet Look-alikeJoin in a parade of pet look-alikes for your chance to win a KONG prize pack All attendees must ensure their pet is on a lead and always secured during the expo and reminded to bring along bags to pick up after their pet. To ensure all community members can participate and travel safely to and from the expo, Burke Street will have reduced speed to 40 mph with traffic management signage in place. This event is being delivered by Baw Baw Shire Council in partnership with Redsteps and sponsored by producer of pet toys and treats, KONG.
