Churchill boasts film!Outdoor Cinema is coming to town!
By Emma Kae - 3rd April 2001 - Back to News Movie stars are coming to town... in the form of the big screen of course! Churchill's Saloon Bar is opening its door to all - young AND old for a movie treat sweeter than your average choc top.
The showing of "Castaway", the story of Chuck Noland, a hugely busy and self absorbed systems engineer whose manic existence ends abruptly when, after a plane crash, he becomes isolated on a remote island.
It stars Tom Hanks (as Chuck) and Helen Hunt (as his girlfriend Kelly), and is reviewed by critics everywhere as "an absolute masterpiece".
Now you can see it with your very own eyes (if you haven't already... and if you have, see it again!) in the NEW Churchill Plaza. Camera rolls at 8.15 pm sharp, so be there early to get a good seat! Prices are very affordable at: adults - $7, under 12 and student concessions - $5.
