Gippslanders to become aware of Depression issues

The Depression Awareness Project is a major action research project, developing, delivering and evaluating an intensive community based approach to increasing community awareness and understanding of depression. The project, to be conducted over 3 years is an initative of the Mental Health Research Institute in collaboration with 'beyond blue:the national depression initative'.

The project in its third phase with the current group of volunteers looking for organisations, community groups and /or other opportunities to present the depression awareness information they have been provided with.
