Cr Hole said: "The object of the day will be to identify new and emerging industries and the potential relocation of industries that are currently in areas that have become residential in the metropolitan area."
Members of Parliament, Government department chiefs, industry representatives and landowners will be attending the forum.
The new Vic Forest team, which allocates timber from native forests for production, has also confirmed their attendance.

Heyfield has been a timber town for many decades and these days is renowned for having the biggest hardwood processing mill in the southern hemisphere.
"This is part of the Council Plan to attract new dynamic industry into Wellington Shire to create jobs and to make Wellington a better place in which to invest, work and live.
