Growing young farmers
Ms Bath said the program supported the development of practical skills in areas such as agronomy, land management, irrigation, and business operations. "This program is a fantastic opportunity for young people in eastern Victoria who are committed to building a future in agriculture and strengthening our rural communities."
"Scholarship recipients can apply their training to on-farm improvements involving planning, new technologies, professional development, and equipment to help drive innovation. Applications are open to young farmers who have been working in a farm business for at least three days a week over the past three months and have at least two years of on-farm experience," said Ms Bath.
Ms Bath encourages interested applicants to visit Agriculture Victoria website for further information.
Applications close on July 23.
