Get Dressed Winners

For the second year running, Bass Coast businesses and residents got in the spirit of the Phillip Island MotoGP, with plenty of worthy winners of Bass Coast Shire Council’s Get Dressed competition.

Prizes were won by 10 participants who went into the draw for MotoGP passes after sending in photos of their MotoGP inspired decorations.

The winners were:

  • Phillip Island Library, Cowes
  • Salvation Army Opportunity Shop, Cowes
  • Cobra Café & Moonshine, Cowes
  • Kayleen Berry, Ventnor
  • St Vincent’s Opportunity Shop, Cowes
  • Pickled Vicar, Cowes
  • Lifeline Opportunity Shop, Wonthaggi
  • St Vincent’s Opportunity Shop, Wonthaggi
  • The Male Centre, Cowes
  • Cowes Newsagency, Cowes

"The Moto GP brings many benefits to Bass Coast. It provides a financial boost to local businesses, ranging from accommodation providers to local tradesmen and others offering services and products to the Moto GP.

"From a social perspective, the Moto GP is an exciting time to be on Phillip Island. Get Dressed is about getting the community on board the Moto GP celebrations and helping to create a fantastic atmosphere for residents and visitors to Bass Coast," Council’s Events Coordinator, Frank Angarane said.

"If you’d like a chance at winning passes to the 2014 MotoGP, keep an eye out for next year’s ‘Get Dressed’ event."
