Soup recall Wellington Shire Council’s Environmental Health team is asking anyone who has 420g cans of Campbell’s Condensed Soup Vegetable Beef with the lot code AJ223 stored at home to return them to the shop or supermarket where they were bought for a refund. By Wellington Shire Council - 4th August 2003 - Back to News The product, which has been on the market since March 2003 is being recalled nationwide as a precaution, after pieces of rubber and rubber coated metal were found in some cans.
Major retailers across the Shire have already been contacted to remove stock of the item from their shelves and local corner/convenience shops are being asked to do the same.
Anyone who would like more information about the recall can contact the Council’s Environmental Health team direct on 5142 3410.
