Health and Safety Week

All demonstrations in Health and Safety Week are free, and everyone is invited to attend

GippsTAFE is taking an active part in Health and Safety Week by conducting a series of demonstrations and interactive sessions at GippsTAFE’s Construction and Safety Department at the Yallourn campus.

Demonstrations and sessions will run on the Tuesday and Wednesday of Health and Safety Week, the 18th and 19th June, from 9am until 4pm and will cover forklift safety, scaffolding, rigging, dogging and prevention of fall from height.

The GippsTAFE Construction and Safety department operates from a uniquely designed, purpose built training facility which is fully equipped for health and safety training, and meets National Occupational Health and Safety regulations, Codes of Practice and National certification requirements.

GippsTAFE’s Construction and Safety Department offer courses in dogging, forklift operating, rigging, mobile crane, mobile plant certification and scaffolding at various times during the year.

All demonstrations and interactive sessions in Health and Safety Week are free, and everyone is invited to attend.
