Mr Chester said, "This project has been talked about ever since the slipway was moved to Bullock Island and it's fantastic to see the disused site being prepared for locals and visitors to enjoy this summer."
"The ongoing transformation of the Lakes Entrance foreshore is making our town an even better place to live and visit which is great for the economy, and encourages people to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle," he said.
