The Report will be on display from 7 June – 12 July. It establishes a vision about the future use and development of Phillip Island and San Remo over the next 20 years. The workshops on 6 July are an opportunity for people to seek clarification of any information contained in the document. "Council really wants people to make submissions about the Report," said Sue Porter, Project Officer. "The workshops will be an opportunity for people to ask questions about the report before they make a written submission." "Throughout the entire project we have been trying to ensure maximum community input,’ said Sue. "The workshops are a chance for people to seek clarification about anything contained in the report." The five workshops will run for one hour each and will take place at the Cowes Cultural Centre. Each workshop is limited to ten participants, and bookings are essential. People can book by calling Council on 5671 2211 or 5951 3311. Sue said that many people had already viewed the report, and some submissions had already been received. "Making a submission about the Report is the last opportunity for people to have their say before the report is finalised," said Sue. The report can be viewed from 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday at: Bass Coast Shire Council Parks Victoria – San Remo Office Cowes Library For more information contact Sue Porter at Bass Coast Shire Council on (03) 5671 2211 or 5951 3311.
