The meeting, being held on the corner of Black’s Track and Marretts Road Hernes Oak at " Mr Brady said that noise testing would be carried out as part of the consultation on the day. "Following the meeting with GHD and motor sports groups, test vehicles will be driven at the proposed venue to establish whether the noise generated can be heard by residents. "We suggest residents return to their homes and listen to hear if the vehicle test noise is audible from their properties. "While all vehicles are noise limited to 95 decibels through national regulations governing motor sports, we believe it is important that we test noise emissions from a resident’s perspective in a local setting. "While this will not provide a definitive answer about noise levels it will provide a useful reference point. GHD will also conduct formal noise testing on the day. "It is envisaged that after the consultation, a planning application will be finalised and submitted. This will then initiate a formal consultation process which will provide full details of the proposal to all residents and give them the opportunity to make submissions," Mr Brady added. To avoid confusion, residents should be aware that a meeting is also being held later in the day in relationship to a proposed hillclimb circuit in Bill Schultz Drive Newborough.
