It is a website that was built specifically for those people that are frustrated by the inability to turn a figment of their imagination into a tangible being (printed copy, not Frankenstein, silly). It was created by Jeff Hebert, quite the icon in the fantasy world of the cartoon superhero. The software is still in development but is already popular among those that have discovered its presence online. The program is free to users, though Hebert hopes to license the concept to companies like Fox, who could then entice web surfers by letting them make their own mutant creations. All you need to use the hero generator is Flash (version 5.0) and an Internet browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape (version 4.0).
