Danny O'Brien takes mobile office to Leongatha, Leongatha South, and Ruby to meet locals face-to-face

Danny O'Brien is taking his mobile office to Leongatha, Leongatha South, and Ruby on April 29, offering locals a chance to discuss state government issues face-to-face and share concerns directly.

The Nationals Member for Gippsland South, Danny O'Brien is taking his office on the road to meet with locals in their hometowns and provide an opportunity to raise state government issues face-to-face.

Danny O'Brien will hold meetings throughout Gippsland South year-round, appreciating local venues hosting these opportunities to connect with residents

Mr O'Brien is taking appointments in Leongatha, Leongatha South and Ruby at local venues on 29 April 2025 to discuss and see first-hand the issues impacting the communities. "I truly value the opportunity to sit down with locals and chat face-to-face about their concerns."

"For some these meetings provide an opportunity to discuss specific state government related concerns that are impacting their daily lives, while for others it is just an opportunity to sit down and chat with their local MP about the broader issues at play," Mr O'Brien said.

Connecting with communities

Mr O'Brien will be continuing to take meetings in towns across the Gippsland South electorate throughout the year. "I try to get out into each town within Gippsland South to hold these meetings as often as I can and am very grateful to the local venues that host me.

"I am on the road all the time but for my formal mobile office visits I will be contacting residents by email or unaddressed mail to invite them to meet with me face-to-face. People can also contact my office on 5144 1987 to find out when I will next be in their town or to organise any urgent meetings.

"Alternatively, constituents are always welcome to email me at danny.obrien@parliament.vic.gov.au to ask for help with state government related matters or even just share their opinions with me. I believe that it is a crucial part of our democracy that people have direct access to their MP and as such I do my best to accommodate that," Mr O'Brien said.
