Petitions
A petition to reopen Weebar Road Northbound, Drouin with 172 signatories has been submitted to council seeking the reopening of Weebar Road North Bound, Drouin.
Community infrastructure
Opportunity to Join the Gippsland Alliance for Climate Action
Council committed to joining the Gippsland Alliance for Climate Action for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 financial year through a memorandum of understanding and payment of relevant membership fees; and, will undertake a review of the benefits of membership by March 2025 with the results presented to a future council meeting.
Drouin, Yarragon and Trafalgar Parking Studies - Final Report
Council noted the community feedback received during the public exhibition period of the draft Drouin, Yarragon and Trafalgar Parking Studies Reports.
Council adopted the recommendations of the Drouin, Yarragon and Trafalgar Parking Studies Reports, now that the community consultation is completed.

Authorisation of Expenditure for Investigations into council processes
Council approved expenditure of up to $100,000 for the purpose of engaging external support to investigate the allegations raised by former Councillor Joe Gauci, following his resignation from council on 26 April 2023.
Governance and information
Council moved to the extension of the Independent Audit and Risk Committee Member the tenure of David Ashmore for a period of one year, until 26 July 2024, pursuant to the Local Government Act 2020.
Notices of Motion
Council moved to receive a report by 27 September 2023 identifying the scope, design and construction costs and options to seek external funding (government and private) to support the repair and reconstruction of the following roads;
- Darnum Shady Creek Road - between Pedder Street, Nilma and Thurlows Road, Shady Creek
- Hazeldean Road - between Parkers Road, Yarragon and Gainsborough Road, Gainsborough
- Thurlows Road, Shady Creek
Bereavement Motion - Chlorie Bottrell
Cr Kostos tabled a Bereavement Motion to honour the late Chlorie Bottrell.
