Media statement: Hundreds of dead fish at Hazelwood Pondage

Seeing hundreds of dead fish in the cooling Hazelwood Pondage after the closure of Hazelwood

By Portal Admin - 16th May 2017 - Back to News

Quotes that can be attributed to the Member for Morwell Russell Northe:

Just six weeks after the closure of Hazelwood we are already seeing hundreds of dead fish in the cooling Hazelwood Pondage.

The Andrews Labor Government's weak reassurances are worthless when we are already seeing significant changes in the Pondage.

Daniel Andrews must stop the uncertainty for our community and come clean on the future of the Hazelwood Pondage for our recreational fishers, Latrobe Valley Yacht Club, the Sailability program, water sport enthusiasts and local community groups.
