Computer Skills Course

GippsTAFE’s is offering a new course ideal for people who need to develop basic computer skills

GippsTAFE’s Community Access Centre is offering a new course ideal for people who need to develop basic computer skills titled "Computer Skills for the Non-Professional User."

The course is aimed at occasional and casual users and will provide an introduction to common computing programs and operations, and is also a part of the Certificate in General Education for Adults.

Topics covered in the course include word processing using MS Word, spreadsheet operations using MS Excel, searching for information on the Internet, how to use email and how to use Windows to manage your computer.

The course will commence on August 12 and will be held on Monday evenings from 5.30pm to 8.30pm at GippsTAFE’s Morwell Campus.
