By Julie Nelson - 21st June 2002 - Back to News Tell us your opinion See what others have said In Paynesville today a community group met to learn more, to share that learning with others and to add our voice to the many voices seeking change in the treatment of asylum seekers in Australia.
We will be affiliated with an organisation called Rural Australians for Refugees, which was set up in Bowral NSW in October 2001.
We aim to encourage both thoughtful conversation and heartfelt action on the specific issues and concerns of the asylum seekers already in Australia.
We will keep you informed of all our activities and welcome your ideas and responses
