You can listen to their amazing story at The Peggy Stevenson Annual Tribute ‘Steps in Leadership’ evening that will be held on Friday 13 July from 5.15pm to 6.30pm at the Latrobe Regional Gallery in Morwell.
Latrobe City Council’s general manager economic sustainability, Allison Jones, said that the event was designed to inspire as well as raise money for the Blue Stockings Scholarship.
"The Petrucco family not only challenged themselves to achieve a goal that was physically, emotionally and mentally imposing, but they raised money for charity and are now sharing their experience in the hope of helping others’ achieve their dreams.
"Also presenting will be Cr Lisa Price, who is a Blue Stockings Association committee member. Cr Price will talk about the Blue Stockings Scholarship, a program which assists women in the Latrobe Valley studying VCE or tertiary studies through financial scholarships.
"All proceeds from this evening will be donated to the Blue Stockings Scholarship," Ms Jones said.
Tickets for the Peggy Stevenson Annual Tribute ‘Steps in Leadership’ event are on sale now from the Box Office on 5176 3559 or the Gallery on 5128 5700. The cost is $15 per person which includes light refreshments.
