Save Tora Boat RampPublic Meeting on Wednesday to"SAVE TORA BOAT RAMP" By Kathy Whelan - 24th September 2007 - Back to News There has been a stalemate for some time, regarding the dredging of the Toora Channel in Corner Inlet.
A Public Meeting is being held this Wednesday 26th September at the Toora Hall, commencing 8pm, organised by the Toora Progress Association. Members of various Government Departments, local politicians and Councillors have been invited to "please explain".
If there is no resolution re. the dredging then the South Gippsland community and recreational fishing tourists will find the Toora Boat ramp un-usable, and most likely, closed.
Please support the community's push to have the dredging proceed! More information from TPA Secretary Pat Fraser on 5686 2739, or President John English on 5686 2130.
