Dairy Tax Advice – Just A Phone Call Away Dairy farmers across the State are invited to participate in a ‘ring-in’ designed to help maximise their 2004/05 tax management. By Department of Primary Industries - 21st April 2005 - Back to News Mike Weise, Department of Primary Industries, Acting Project Manager for Dairy said the tax seminar is only the second Target 10 have held over the phone.
"The sixty minute telephone seminar is available to both farmers and service providers via a free 1800 number," Mr Weise said.
During the seminar Accountant and Dairy specialist Colin Wright from Sale will be discussing Dairy Tax Management with one of Target 10's dairy business specialists.
"The subjects covered will include why, how and when to manage tax, who to get help from, options to reduce this business cost and how business structure and size affects tax treatment," Mr Weise said.
"The ring-in seminar is in response to requests to help dairy farmers plan and maximise their 2004/2005 management," Mr Weise said.
The ring-in seminar will take place on 9 May.
