June 25 – 29 – Australian Medical Council visiting the Gippsland Medical School. As part of the accreditation process for the new Gippsland Medical School, the AMC will visit the campus to examine the prospectus, curriculum, and the facilities. The AMC will also visit the Latrobe Regional Hospital, and Clinical training centres in Sale and Bairnsdale during the week.
June 26 – Public Opening of ‘The Maryvale Art Foundation Collection’ exhibition, 4pm, Switchback Gallery - A joint project of Gippsland Education Precinct, Latrobe Regional Gallery and Gippsland Centre for Art and Design. This exhibition is an opportunity to see works by a range of major Australian artists, acquired by the foundation to be available for teaching purposes. The exhibition continues until July 5.
