Monash University and Gippsland Group Training will sign a historic Memorandum of Understanding at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8. The MOU will pave the way for GGT and Monash University to work together on a large scale work placement program for students in 2006. The program, called Cooperative Education, will provide Monash students with up to six months of paid employment with local employers. The program is believed to be the first of its kind in Australia and is in response to market research which showed that it is wanted by both employers and students.
