The lecture will trace the nature of a profession, how public relations fits the necessary criteria, what it must do to become a profession or whether it even wants to. An expected 150 Principals from Primary and Secondary schools across Gippsland are coming to the Gippsland Campus on July 14 to discuss ways schools and the university can work closer together to improve outcomes for their students. • Making the Grade On Thursday, July 13 approximately 30 international students will be introduced to their personal mentors. These mentors are current Monash students who have undergone extensive training to be equipped to assist new students with a range of issues. Students will learn about the Australian culture and lifestyle through interactive sessions as well as the opportunity to sample some traditional Aussie tucker.
On Thursday, July 13, 170 Year 10 students from Lowanna College will visit the campus as part of the Schools Access Monash (SAM) program for a Transition Information Day. On the day, students will be visiting the various faculties of the campus, learning more about GippsTAFE and GGT, participating in transition workshops, and hearing from ex-Lowanna students currently studying at Monash Gippsland.
